Fleecy Egg-Crate Booster Car Seat
So I’ve got an 8lb chihuahua and a 9lb mini dachshund. I used to have one of those collapsible car seats and neither was a fan. The straps were in the way and they just couldn’t get comfortable with no soft areas to cuddle into, even if I added blankets. Also it didn’t have a stable bottom so they just didn’t feel secure. With several long car trips in my future I decided to upgrade to a larger, more stable option. They do great in the car seat (I only use it for one dog at a time), and are clearly much more comfortable in their new seat. I did have to clean up an accident, and it was a pretty easy clean up.Tl:dr - if you don’t mind the size, I definitely recommend this product.
I like that it rests on the seat. It’s attached by straps and a seat belt. Our Chiweenie puppy is able to look out the window, she can lay down and sleep. She’s very comfortable. She did vomit in it once after having eaten some grass and the covers all zip off easily and were laundered. She also tracked some muddy foot prints on it after a walk in the park. It’s been a very good purchase. It’s sturdy, installs in car easily. It looks nice. And it’s the perfect size for our small dog to safely ride in the car and see out the windows.
Received this today. It is heavier than I expected and looks like it needs to be ironed. It has the egg crate type cushion which I don't like but I had another soft thin cushion I added to take the egg crate feel away. I also had to add a support underneath the back of it so it'd sit straight and not be slanted. I really like that the car's seatbelt goes through the back to secure it. I bought this to upgrade my dog's car seat plus I like the pillowed sides which was a selling point since my small dog likes to lay his head there. Also, it is a small enough car seat of this style to fit in my small SUV.Update:Our first road trip using this was to evacuate due to Hurricane Milton and this seat worked wonderfully. My dog was very comfy and slept very soundly, he hardly even moved (to change position, he changed position frequently in his previous car seat.) My original views remain but I am upgrading to 5 stars since my dog is was so comfy - it's all about him, his safety, and his comfort. (The pink across the back is his car blanket.)
I was hesitant to buy this because there was only a few reviews. But glad I did. It's WONDERFUL!! It's soooo soft and plush. My dog loves it! It has a thick cushion for them to lay on, and the cover is washable and removable. It came vacuum sealed which made me nervous. I thought it would be completely smushed but it fluffed right up. I can tell my dog loves it. And she is 16 lbs and it fits her PERFECTLY!! I also like that the front is a little higher for their protection. If you had to stop quick, they won't fall out. 10/10

Love this for our small dog! We have a golden doodle (cliche I know) who is about 10 pounds and can't sit still to save his life. This car seat is super durable and doesn't cave in like other ones even when he gets excited and bounces all around in it. It's fairly easy to clean, with a removable cover on the main cushion. We keep our dog pretty clean, so we haven't had any issues with the fur on the seat getting dirty, so I can't speak for owners that get their dogs muddy/ dirty a lot. I drive a very small SUV and the height of the seat is perfect for my dog to look out of the window. I like the strap that is sewn into the bottom of the seat, which seems very durable. It looks cute in my car and my dog loves it, so it's a win win
If you have a chewer of Leashes, the lead that attaches to the carrier to restrain your pet will not last. There needs to be a better way to safely replace the retaining lead. I was fortunate enough to have enough strap left to put a brass rivet in the strap so I can attach a new lead. Otherwise the carrier is great. Very soft and enough padding for our 3.7 pound Pomeranian to see outside when going down the road without him jumping out and possibly hurting himself. It seem to have a great deal of protection from the sides in the unfortunate possibility or an auto collision.
The car seat is very, very plush and cozy. Perfect size for my Yorkie. It’s a little big width wise for the car’s car seat. I also am going to try and raise it up higher so she can see out the window easier. And the leash is under the seat on the inside attached to the bottom of the seat which means she can’t get out . In case of an accident she will not be flying towards the ceiling or anywhere else. It also has a pocket on the front outside. The pocket is not deep and I can’t put much in it. I wish it would have held more puppy stuff. All in all, I am satisfied!
